We thought it would be such an awesome idea to go check out the graffiti on Muindi Mbingu street. On Sunday. After church. Because I mean, who is in town on Sunday morning! The plan was to take photographs and pray that no one would take our camera.
Yes, we found church going on RIGHT IN FRONT of the wall. Sigh. You know what they say about the best laid plans. Anyway, what are your thoughts on the messages being put across by the graffiti artist?
“Am (sic) a tribal leader. They loot, rape, burn and kill in my defence. I steal their taxes, grab land but the idiots still vote for me”
I am subscribed to every groupon site in Kenya [Rupu, Mocality, Zetu]. A couple of weeks back, they had a deal from cakes.co.ke.
It coincided with the week I was having people over for a BBQ themed dinner.
I know cakes have nothing to do with BBQ but we did have “make your own burgers” as the main meal. As part of the deal, you got Red Velvet Cupcakes.
Now, if you know me, you know I love Red Velvet.
PS: The total cost of all those cupcakes was Kshs 400.
