One of our favourite reggae artist, Jah Cure, came to Nairobi a few weeks ago and I got an opportunity to attend the concert which I couldn’t refuse. It was his first time in Africa let alone Kenya so he was very excited to be here.

Reggae concerts in Kenya have an ill reputation and at the press conference he was asked how he could encourage people to come to his show and he said that his songs are about love and he wouldn’t expect his fans to be unruly.

The show was great, although it started a quite late but Jah Cure gave an awesome performance. He must have enjoyed Kenya because he scheduled a second show in Nairobi just two weeks after his début in Kenya.
