I am subscribed to every groupon site in Kenya [Rupu, Mocality, Zetu]. A couple of weeks back, they had a deal from cakes.co.ke.
It coincided with the week I was having people over for a BBQ themed dinner.
I know cakes have nothing to do with BBQ but we did have “make your own burgers” as the main meal. As part of the deal, you got Red Velvet Cupcakes.
Now, if you know me, you know I love Red Velvet.
PS: The total cost of all those cupcakes was Kshs 400.
Having never gone to the Nairobi Museum, it was quite the experience for the hubs. A photographer’s dream actually.
That place is IDEAL for a photoshoot. Working on ideas now.
After passing through the history of mankind exhibit, there are curvy stairs that take you to the first floor. These frames show picture of pre-colonial Kenya [and some post colonial Kenya].
If one never understood the power of a photograph, you need to go see these pictures
I do not know how to get to Blue Post Hotel. But that is not the point of this post. When I was a girl guide in primary school, we went for a trip to Thompson Falls and I fell into the falls.
These are not the Thompson falls, these are the fourteen falls.
In one word: Exquisite!
Babes went for a photo exploring adventure to Thika and came back with these…… I am in awe and if I could post over twenty pictures, you would see the beauty of this country of ours. Some of which we know about but never go to see.
Kuria asked me if this picture looked better in black and white or in colour, I had to go with black and white. Makes the movement seem more.
