We did a sneak peek on this shoot a couple of weeks ago and now their website is up and running at www.sthannahs.com with more of the images we took. The start of this project seemed a bit challenging trying to figure out how to portray the school, well actually the group of schools because they have four campuses consisting of early learning, nursery, primary and secondary schools. But once we started we realised that each campus had its own story to tell, from the friendly nursery kids to the high school boys trying to be men to the girls trying to grab the spotlight every time the lens is pointed in their direction. It was also fun seeing how much energy all the students have, reminding us of our early years and also a bit sad to know some of us lose that energy later cause we make life so serious. I honestly think if we all took just one hour of our day to do something enjoyable, fun or memorable this world would truly be a wonderful place .
I’m not sure if this shoot falls in the category of product photography (lets say it does :-)) but it is a way of showcasing the school, their campus(es) and their students to prospective families. So, for those creatives out there with products or services to offer and are looking to get their work out there feel free to contact us. Lets start with an idea and grow it from there.
Have a great weekend guys 🙂
A couple of months back, we posted a simplicity post! A reader of the blog requested for prints of the water droplets. Here is the final product that was delivered:
If you are interested in any of the prints on the blog please email us on email@example.com
Last month we had the pleasure once again of assisting fellow photographer, Paul Munene, on a magazine shoot (Drum, July 2012). This time we were working with 25 year old singer, journalist and aspiring philanthropist, Alisha Popat. She has been working behind the scenes in radio, film production and as an MC for events. Now she is focusing on her music and her album will be out very soon.
She told us she tried modelling once but it wasn’t her thing, but I think she did pretty awesome on this shoot. Let us know what you think 🙂
