Holiday Travels – Mombasa Part 2
“A child’s world is fresh and new and beautiful, full of wonder and excitement. It is our misfortune that for most of us that clear-eyed vision, that true instinct for what is beautiful, is dimmed and even lost before we reach adulthood.”
While on our Mombasa family trip we decided to make a visit to Mamba Village so my Niece could get to see live crocodiles. I was kinda excited to see how she will react to the animals and she totally surprised me how fearless she was towards them. She didn’t even shy when it came to holding the baby crocodile. I think we grown ups got more nervous about it and gave her a crocodile egg to hold instead.
Spending time with kids has a lot benefits and I think one of the best ones is seeing things a fresh through their eyes. As someone said, it’s never too late to have a happy childhood.
Now on to the crocs!
