Chicken Run, Calves & A Great View

November 9, 2012 Animal Photography, travel photography

We did a road trip to Eldoret a couple of weekends ago to take my in-laws to visit my folks. For those who don’t know, Eldoret is the home of champions (actually it’s Iten town that’s the home of champions but we also take pride in that) thanks to our long distance runners who come from this area and is rumoured to have one of the best climates in the world. It’s where I grew up before moving to the city and it is always so refreshing going back there away from all the hustle and bustle of Nairobi.

I love taking random pics of things that amuse me. And on thing trip I ended up bonding with some local animals, appreciate the greenery and had lunch with a great view.

Love taking macros of flowers, though I need to hook up a better lens for that.

Had a session with these two calfs, although one stole the show completely

My favourites are the chicken photos. And there’s one of the flower photos that will stick with me for a long time, but I don’t know what the flower is called. Sigh!
